STONEKOTE®–5000-Black is a non-stick, self-lubricating finish based on a special fluorocarbon resin and suitable modifiers. The coating provides desirable hardness and abrasion resistance. After curing, a fluorocarbon rich surface is formed which provides non-stick and low friction properties.
The toughness and resiliency of this product, plus it’s good non-stick and low coefficient of friction make it suitable for uses where other non-sticks are not appropriate due to insufficient hardness or wear life. Some typical examples are saw blades, wood drill bits, mold release, aircraft tooling and low load-bearing surfaces.
This product does conform with regulations governing use for direct food contact.
